Valerio Caruso
Project Manager - Cineuropa
Valerio Caruso is Director of the web site www.cineuropa.org, a portal about European cinema in four languages, offering news, data bases, services and promoting the European cinema in Europe and outside.

From 2004 he is also project manager of the Euromedcafe site, dedicated to intercultural in the Euro-Mediterranean region. He organised several short film contests on intercultural dialogue.

He writes articles for Cartoon, the European Association of Animation Films.

Between 2000 and 2004 he has been working in the framework of the Euromed Audiovisual I Programme and others cooperation programmes of the European Commission.
Between 1996 and 2000 he worked within the MEDIA Programme of the European Commission. He has been involved in the selection, evaluation, monitoring, supervision of the training initiatives selected by the Commission, including cooperation projects with Eastern Europe countries.
