1996/2010: teaching, project management and consultancy
- 2007/2010: design and management of the SWIM in the digital world training action piloted by Sciencescom through a Consortium of higher education institutions: NUCA (UK), UdK Berlin, University of Babes-Bolyai, Cluj (R) San-Jorge University, Zaragossa, Audencia-Nantes, School of Management (FR) with the support of the MEDIA Programme of the European Community.
- 2001/2004: coordination of Sciences Com's partnership with the Sevilla-based European Program MEDEA, (Euromed AV) headed by the Junta de Andalucia, for the development of Euro-Mediterranean films and documentaries projects.
Organisation of three professional training seminars focused on marketing and distribution (Malta, Malaga and Toulouse).
- 2001/2002: head of a market study dedicated to "the French academics and professional training centres for the film and television industry", on behalf of EuroMediterranee, the public developer for the Marseille Media Centre.
Since 1996: associate professor at Sciences Com', a higher education institution specialized in communications and media based in Nantes, France. The position includes:
--Supervision of the Media Management Master (MA grade),
--Academic and professional relations with the industry (case studies with ESPN, France 5, M6 Group, Arte, Disney Channel, Equidia...).
OTHERS RELEVANT ACTIVITIES
2000: a consultancy mission on behalf of the Pays de la Loire Regional Authority: design of a new public fund for digital creative works.
From 1996 to 1999:
Design and direction of a slate of training courses in the field of audiovisual production management, with the support of the Aquitaine, Bretagne and Pays de la Loire regional authorities. Production partners: Telecip, Gaumont Television, Alya Production.
In 1997/1998:
- Design and supervision of the professional training programme "Winning Distribution Strategies", based in Paris, Brussels and London on behalf of the European Television Enterprises (ETVE) and with the support of the MEDIA Programme of the European Community.
- Instructor for MEGA, a training programme of the Media Business School - Madrid.
Author of "Profession Producteur", and "Audiovisuel des Entreprises et des Collectivites", (DIXIT Publisher, Paris, 2004, 2001 and 1993).
1993/1996: consultancy and studies supervision.
- The Aquitaine Regional Authority commissioned the consultant for a long-term strategy that included:
-- the reinforcement of the local audiovisual industry through a pro-active co-operative strategy with leading production firms based in Paris,
-- the setting-up of a local film commission,
-- the increase of film and television shootings in the Aquitaine region.
- Head of a survey dedicated to "The Audiovisual Development in the French Regions", commissioned by the CNC and PROCIREP organisations (CEFPF Publisher, 1995).
- Speaker for audiovisual and multimedia forums (Mediaville, Hourtin Summer University).
Instructor or coach in numerous training courses (Sciences Com', ESCP, IIIS, SUFCO, CEFPF, Convergence AV, Mastere Communication ESCP).
1979/1992: audiovisual producer
- 1989/92: associate producer at Sabre Group (15 MEuros of revenues), in charge of the corporate and TV production. Credits:
-- "Futur's", TF1 magazine about new technologies,
-- "The Job Venture", a teen-age magazine for the public channel France 3,
-- "Research to be continued", a scientific and educational-oriented magazine co-produced by INSERM and ARTE.
- 1979/89: manager of the independent production company "Connaissance par l'Image", specialized in magazines and short films series.
Credits: "20th Century" for Canal + and TUBE, Paris subway television network.
The company also had a consistent track record in audiovisual production for the corporate and educational sectors, with the following credits: Bull, PSA Peugeot-Citroen, Total, Coflexip, Banques Populaires, Havas, Digital, Garnier, Compagnie Deutsch, etc.
