SEMINAR CONTENT
For practical reasons, the seminar is divided into 2 pedagogical sessions. During each session, participants will analyse 2 cases studies, attend conferences and lectures, will have the opportunity to share opinions and ideas with our professional guests and will participate to the social events organised by the SWIM Consortium.
Cases studies : We have selected 5 cases studies that will be analysing during the seminar : 3 in session 1, 2 in session 2. You will spend 4 days per case, from monday to tuesday (included). The first step will be dedicated to the lecture and analysis of the documents relative to the case and all along the second step, you will be in charge of the preparation of the pitch, which will be presented to a group of professionals.
Lectures / Conferences : Highly experienced staff lecturers and tutors will teach all classes and hold conferences on the following concepts : VoD platforms, digital projection, 3D cinema, Web 2.0… Each conference will last around 1h30 and will be followed by a questions/answers session.
TIMETABLE
The seminar runs for 18 days from 27 May to 13 June 2010. Classes are held between 9:30am and 5:30pm, except weeks-ends that are reserved to conferences and cultural activities, giving you the opportunity to visit Zaragoza and the Aragon region.
FACILITIES
During the SWIM seminar you will have full access to USJ facilities. The university is equipped with a high-technology and professional material : multimedia and computer labs, WIFI and global internet connection, libraries, meeting and class rooms, audiovisual and radio studios…
The required material for an efficient working session will be available for all participants.
